The Alliance for Mindanao Off-grid Renewable Energy Program (AMORE) is one of the projects under USAID/Philippines' Office of Energy and Environment.

With AMORE as one of our co-projects, klima is one in celebrating with AMORE the culmination of their AMORE Phase 1 by the end of March 2005 and witness the formal launching of AMORE Phase 2 in the AMORE Summit.

During the Summit, AMORE formally presented its partners instrumental to their accomplishments and turned over their renewable energy projects to the federations of village-based sustainability organizations who came all the way from Mindanao to Manila. The guests were led by Energy Secretary Vincent Perez, US Ambassador Francis Ricciardone, USAID/Philippines Mission Director Dr. Michael Yates, and Mirant Philippines President Ed Bautista.
